During my post graduate program, I did my internship at RAHI (Recovery and Healing from Incest); located in Delhi. It is a support group for women survivors of Incest. During my work there, we developed a questionnaire to identify the level of awareness of child sexual abuse and incest, amongst the mental health professionals in Delhi hospitals and conducted semi- structured interviews. The level of awareness about this subject was very less, back in the 1990's. Since then, I have explored this subject and have urged and assisted parents and educators in promoting awareness about this social issue.

My masters thesis was on 'Feminism in Society and Academics'.

I started counseling as a private practice in 2003. For the past 6 years, after completing the EFT course in 2004, I have been using it as an important therapeutic tool in my counseling sessions. Unlike other therapeutic methods, EFT works effectively over phone and online. EFT is the combination of traditional medicine (acupuncture) and most modern psycho-therapeutic modalities like NLP, TA, BT & EMDR. For more information click here.

As a psychologist I was very skeptical about EFT. But once I applied on and experienced its benefits, I was completely convinced. I consider having a background in psychology to be an 'important determinant of successful EFT therapy' since EFT combined with traditional as well as modern psycho-therapeutic modalities has the power to take you beyond mechanical EFT.

I am fluent in English and Hindi and can provide consultation in these two languages.

EFT Certificates *-  I have done the EFT CERT I from Gary Craig's official certification Program for EFT. I also did the EFT - CC and ADV courses back in 2004 when EFT was introduced in India for the first time.  I have also been doing research on Energy Psychology and on EFT functionality and architecture for the past 5 years.

*Note: EFT CERT I is the only official certification program which is issued and recognized by Gary Craig's EFT foundation.

EFT- CC & EFT- ADV certificates were given by Pace Educational Systems, N.J, U.S.A, under the supervision of Patricia Carrington (EFT Master) and the exams were based on Gary Craig's DVD's (Founder of EFT).
